Date Night

Date night is not something I get to do often. The hassle of finding a sitter, let’s not forget paying for it and running from work to go on a date. Even thought it may require some planning, it’s crucial to continue dating while married. Anyway we scored free tickets to a movie premiere. But it was first come first serve on a work day. Our sitter cancelled but a friend agree to babysit but later then planned. I arrived to the theatre late and was at the end of the line and I was concerned we wouldn’t get in. My honey was dropping off the kids and I was waiting for him to arrive. I had the tickets and he needed to be there. Mind you this is my first time ever attending a premiere. The line was moving and I finally get to the front and he still has not arrived. Then I was told I needed to wait for him. So I wait and eventually the theater is full they stop the line. Sad day for us right. I was anxious during this process so I closed my eyes and prayed. And something happened the guy said there were some reserved seats and they were fining them away in a few mins if no one shows. My husband arrives it’s the exact time the seats were being released. And just like that we scored awesome seats I mean I got my favorite seat in the entire theatre filled with people. It may seems small to some but my God knows me so well that he went ahead and made a way for us that night. I was so grateful that he cares so much for us that he made a way for us and is so detailed that I was given my favorite seat. That’s how much our Father loves and cares for us. So much even when we don’t even notice or give him credit for what He has done. He will never leave you or forsake his promise to us as his children. Have a blessed week!!!!!

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.””

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:8‬ ‭NIV‬

The Power of Prayer

Have you ever been afraid to pray because you felt afraid or ashamed of what you’ve done? I know I have and I struggled with this. I thought so many negative thoughts about myself because I did not know how much our Creator loves us. I felt unlovable, unworthy of love, not good enough, scared and alone. I’m still a work in progress noticing everyday how much the Lord is changing me from the inside out. There is nothing you can do that God can not help you get out, pause NOTHING, no problem is too big for Him, He created the entire universe, and He is that big. Big enough for our worries, concerns, problems or whatever we’re facing. Jesus loves us so much that He would have died even if you were the only person on the entire Earth to save. God is all knowing there is nothing you can hide from Him. He knows what you facing, what you’ve been through, the worst thing you have ever done. He wants to change you if you let Him. He wants you to ask and you shall receive. For His word says”ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and the one who knocks, the door will be opened” Matthew 7:7-8 NIV. This is one of my favorite verses. He is waiting for you to knock on the door. He wants to bless you, just ask in Jesus name. The power of prayer will set you free. Have a blessed week everyone!!!!

If you don’t know God or who Jesus is and you would like to get to know him. Romans 10:9-10 says “that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

Lift up our Nation

I had a dream a few nights ago; I was looking down at earth and saw every continent being consumed by fire except North America. It’s like the fire was coming from under the continents. I said “oh my” the old world just fell off the face of the earth. North America started flashing blue and red the last country left. I’m sure there is more to the dream but this is all I remembered. It’s as if this was our last chance as a nation to get back to God and His ways. I must say I’m not sure what this dream meant but felt the need to share it, prayer is needed for our nation, cities and communities. Join me in prayer for our country, the days seem shorter and the years are flying by, may Jesus pour out his spirit on the nation, may He call his children home to His kingdom, may he take the scales off the eyes of the blind and reveal his truth. May true change come to our nation, lets lift up those in authority to seek wisdom and guidance from God.

Life is so precious

Today I’m really sadden by the heinous crimes that are taking place in America the land of the Free, people losing their lives senselessly. We have overcome so much and still the justice that everyone wants to see is not served. A life is so precious all created and molded in our mothers wombs and given a purpose, a good purpose. Life is so valuable were only given one and a life is a life it shouldn’t matter what skin color or uniform all lives matter. I think as a country people are moving further and further away from God.  If true justice is warranted, put down the weapons, open up your heart and pray. He created this world and His word says everything is possible with God. He will fight the battle. Pray for America, especially the people in authority who can help bring change to our nation, cities, our communities and most importantly our children.  May the Lord pour out his spirit and empower us as His people to change our hearts and minds. Transformation through His power will bring true change to America.

To the families and friends that have lost someone in the last three days, may the Lord comfort, support and strengthen you while meeting all of your needs.

Happy Father’s Day 2016

Wishing all the fathers out there a fun filled experience with there children and families. Everyday is Father’s Day but make this day a bit more special. Be blessed.

I actually wrote more than the above post and at the last minutes decided not to post it but 2016 is all about taking risk and stepping outside of our comfort zone.

To my father: I’m bless to have a father that has a heart filled with love and kindness. I will never forget the Saturdays you took us to play soccer. The days I would be off of school to work not because you had to but because I wanted too. The Westchester County Fair at Yonkers Raceway and our random trips to city island. I have to admit those are the most memorable times.

To my husband: I’m blessed to have a man that loves his children and for that I am forever thankful. Speak life over them protect them be with them, provide for them and make them know that you will do whatever it takes to make sure their needs are met. Love Jesus more.

To my Father in Heaven: Lord thank you for your love your peace and your joy. I will never forget the day I was filled with your spirit I never felt love or peace until that day. Thank you so much for adopting me into your family even thought I don’t deserve it. For you have given me a life that only your could have created. No eye has seen no ear has heard what you have in for us. I know that. We all fall short of your glory Lord but I pray that you stay in my heart sanctifying me from the inside out. I love you beyond words it’s so deep inside me. Thank you for choosing me.

Tough Times

The struggle is real when your just making enough to to cover the bare minimum especially with childcare expenses through the roof, little left for groceries and some bills left unpaid until next paycheck. I can tell you today that these are the times we feel the closest to God because we know there is no way our needs are being met without his help. There is always a lesson or an experience that’s comes out of the struggle don’t allow something temporary to ruin your smile. Be happy with what you’ve been blessed with in that moment. I’m employed, I have some where to live, running water, electricity and most importantly I’m still alive. To all the single parents, working parents and struggling families don’t be discouraged or lose hope because there is an end to every season. He will never leave or forsake you. He is with you thought ever situation. Lean into his strength and trust that everything is for His glory, he is guiding you. If you don’t know who Jesus is, start by confessing your a sinner and inviting him into your heart. He can change your life and give you a new perspective the truth. I hope this encourages your today. Be blessed and love Jesus.
Romans 10:9

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

Memorial Day

Remembering all the fallen soldiers that died to protect us to keep America safe. In this country we are blessed with rights like freedom of speech and the ability to share the good news of  Jesus freely along with all He sacrificed for us. The cost of freedom is not cheap because someone paid the price with their life. May God Bless America.

Hey Everyone, I know it’s been a while since I posted anything. My website has been acting up and I’m still learning how to figure all this coding and troubleshooting stuff out. Tonight I just wanted to let someone know that even when times are hard, you are never alone He is holding your hand even when He feels 1,000 feet away. Just keep pushing forward and leaning into His strength. May the Lord strengthen your faith and guide you, may His perfect and pleasing will be done in Jesus name. Amen. Be safe and have a great holiday weekend.

The Ultimate Breakup

The definition of doubt – to be uncertain about (something) : to believe that (something) may not be true or is unlikely.
I know that God is real

I know that Jesus died

I know that Jesus was buried

I know that Jesus was resurrected on the third day

Then why doubt because things don’t turn out the way we thought it would. Maybe it’s just how we look at things. The same spirit lives in each and every believer, don’t allow what can’t be seen or  whatever your facing make you doubt. If you doubt for a second just start to remember all the things He has brought you through, all your struggles, all your pain, all your blessing and miracles. Where are you standing right now? Your ALIVE, you have breath… still here with a purpose, He still has a plan and just hold onto His promises. Lean into Him, stay in his word and pray. Eventually it will lead you to the ultimate break up with doubt. Step out and reach for the stars nothing is impossible for Him.

Life and Death Part 2

Is it me or does it seem like people are passing away really young. I don’t know type of life they lived. I’m wondering did they know Jesus? Death is hard for families and friends especially close relationships. When my grandmother passed away sometime ago I was so heartbroken and didn’t understand why she had to leave so early. She worked really hard, her heart was like gold but I could tell she was really tired. Looking back as an adult now, her death was freedom from this earth to spend eternity with the Father. For to me, to live as Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21

Floating upward into eternity where time does not exist and there is only peace, joy and love. God allows things to happen because he sees the spans of lives sometimes tough situations develop character and someone’s death may bring honor and glory to Him in the end, so He may allow them to happen. He is always working for our good. Living and dying for Christ regardless of your circumstances. If you died today do you know where your going? Choose life by choosing Jesus.

“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:8‬ ‭NIV
